Out And About On The First Day Of Fall

We’re sad to see another summer come and go, but we’re ready to take on a full weekend of fall fun!

Today around noon, we’ll be balloon twisting at the Toy and Collectible Street Fair in Merchantville! Held along West Park Ave. in Merchantville, the event – which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. today – showcases a variety of new and vintage toys, games, and collectibles for sale. There will also be some great food and entertainment available… and I hear BATMAN WILL BE THERE! How cool is that!?! Thanks to Play With This Toys and Collectibles for inviting us!

Then on Sunday, we’re off to Pennsauken’s 26th annual Car, Bike, and Craft Show! For just $2, kids can get a wrist band for the event’s Kid Zone, and we’ll be offering balloon twisting and face painting there from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition to all the cars and bikes that you’ll find at this year’s show, vendors and crafters will be in attendance, offering a wide variety of goods for sale. Both DJs and live bands will provide the soundtrack for the event, as attendees stroll up and down Maple Ave. And there will be football on the big screen! Hope to see you there!

Balloon Twisting At Community Block Party!

Martin Luther Chapel is holding a community block party today, Sunday, July 1, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on the corner of Baker Ave. and Rt. 130 in Pennsauken. Activities include a bounce house, petting zoo, balloon twisting, face painting, touch-a-construction-vehicle, health fair tables, games, music, free good, free raffles, and more. All activities have been moved indoors to the air conditioned gym.

We’ll be balloon twisting during this fun, free event. We hope to see you there!

Join Us For The Third Annual Pennsauken Harvest Festival

2016-harvest-fesitvalUnfortunately, today’s event has been cancelled. We’re super bummed. 🙁

Due to large amount of rain that fell overnight, the grounds of the Pennsauken Community Recreation Complex are just too saturated with water to safely setup and hold this year’s Pennsauken Harvest Festival.

As the majority of the vendors, etc. have committed to other events this month, the Harvest Festival is unfortunately cancelled for this year.

We appreciate people’s understanding in this matter and hope that Mother Nature is a in a better mood for next year’s event.
